The Red Dress has been in the business of finding and supplying gorgeous Vintage inspired dresses for over 15 years. My sister and I,two girls who grew up in Hollywood,surrounded and influenced by old world vintage textiles fell in love with the romance and mystery of our Immigrant Grandmothers 1930's and 1940's closets,which were filled with fine European clothing.Scouring thrift stores for vintage dresses to wear in our teens,our obsession continued as adults.We opened our first dress store,which was originally founded in Northern California in 1993. A second store soon followed.Greatly influenced by the beauty,charm, romance and workmanship of vintage clothing,we have sought out unique and wonderful designers from all over the world. Famous,creative,off the beaten track European designers,who specialize in Victorian and Vintage recreations and exquisite clothing with nineteenth century details.
